Timeline: Jan 2019 - May 2019

Objective: Display the number, size & severity of recent data breaches that have been reported.

As a group (of 5 graduate students) we were interested in visualizing the data surrounding data breaches. Therefore, we conducted various 3 different design labs to test the effectiveness of various visualizations.

While learning new visualization techniques using Tableau, Vega-Lite.js & D3.js we developed prototype using each method.

We found that we could tell the most compelling story with an interactive Tableau dashboard. You can find our final submission here: The Rise of Data Breaches.
